Environment:
Device: Samsung Galaxy S8, Android (8.0.0)
Build: Firefox Nightly 68.0a1 (2019-05-30), Firefox Beta 68.0b5 and Firefox Release 67.0

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open browser.
  2. Go to "https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Game_of_Thrones" or "https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Periodic_table".
  3. Tap on the "Reading View" icon.
  4. Scroll down the page right until after tables.

Expected Result: The reading page is correctly displayed with the elements.

Actual Result: The text from the page is smaller. It depends on how the table is designed. The "Aa" option is missing

Note:

  1. This may be the cause of the table elements
  2. Video attached.
Summary: In reading view the UI of the page is displayed as in desktop mode → In reading view the UI of the page is affected by the table elements

Hi, I reproduce this on ESR Firefox Beta 68.1b5 build 1 with Sony Xperia Z5 (Android 7.0).

Hi, the issue does not seem to reproduce anymore, checked with Google Pixel 3a (Android 9) on Firefox Release 68.4.1, Firefox Beta 68.5b3 and Firefox Nightly 68.5a1(2020-01-13).
Note:

  • I have also checked on Firefox Preview Nightly 200113 (Build #20130606), GV: 74.0a1-2020011009023, through the "Reader View" option, the issue is not present.
    I will put the ticket as Works for me.
