This is probably an RFE, because I know my mail set up is a little weird. I have my old Outlook mail in a folder other than the default Outlook folder. I installed Mozilla and want to import my Outlook mail and address book. I use the import tool and tell it to import from Outlook. The tool responds that no address books were found for import. I noticed the Eudora import tool allows one to select a directory to import from, but the Outlook tool does not. For me, and people in my situation, a little more robustness in the Outlook import tool, e.g. the ability to specify an alternate directory to import from, would be useful. I personally plan to manually move my mail directory to where Outlook would have put it and try the import again, but this is a work around that should not be necessary.
Marking as NEW. Leaving severity as Normal because, since Eudora importer does have a filepicker, this is not an enhancement. Every mail importing tool must have a filepicker.

I _think_ I have the same problem. I'm running Outlook 2000. My company installed Outlook on my laptop, so I'm not sure if my mail folders are in the default location or not (Win 98). When I try to import addresses/mail from Outlook I get the message: "Unable to find mail to import. Please check to make sure the mail application is correctly installed on this machine." Where is mozilla looking? I'd like to import my .pst files.
Have you tried going into Internet Explorer, selecting Tools|Internet Options menu, selecting the Programs tab and selecting Outlook to be the defaul E-mail program, then try importing Outlook Mail from Mozilla?
That fixed it. Thanks!
