Details

If you are not using the toggle sidebar toolbar button, there is no way (that I can find anyway) to close the sidebar. Command-B will open it, but does not close it. Command-B should toggle the sidebar status and reflect this in the bookmarks menu (Show bookmarks in sidebar and hide bookmarks in sidebar depending on the status of the sidebar at the time).
