Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Fedora; Linux x86_64; rv:67.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/67.0
Steps to reproduce:
I'm on Fedora 30 with Gnome 3.32.2 as desktop environment.
Open Firefox.
Maximize Firefox.
Open multiple tabs.
Try to switch between tabs using keyboard shortcuts ( alt+1, alt+2, etc. ) or clicking on the tab label.
I note that the issue happens more frequently using keyboard shortcuts then the mouse.
More rarely the same behaviour happens while changing page inside the same tab via a link or a form.
Actual results:
The window is freezed, showing the old tab.
Moving the mouse around instead reacts like if the new tab was effectively selected, for example I'm able to see the hand cursor over where a link in the new tab is supposed to be while still seeing the old tab content.
Forcing the window to be repainted resolves the issue, with Gnome this can be done minimizing or tiling the window, or opening the activity menu.
Expected results:
The selected tab should be displayed.
