Steps to reproduce:

I look at any GitHub page with sections in the README, e.g. https://github.com/mozilla/voice-web
Now I scroll down and see:
https://i.imgur.com/32foBqF.png

Actual results:

The linking symbols for all the sections show up.

Expected results:

The linking symbol should only be visible for the section that I'm actually hovering with my cursor. Or if I don't hover any section then no linking symbol should be visible.

Forgot to say: this works as expected in other browsers, like Edge and Brave. But it does not work in Firefox.

Works for me. Same as bug 1557815, please test in a brand new profile.

Even with a brand new profile created using about:profiles, Create a New Profile I can still reproduce both of the bugs.

Hi,
I tried with windows10 64bit, using firefox release 67, but it looks ok on my machine.
when i go to https://github.com/mozilla/voice-web , i only see the links when im hovering with the cursor

please download Firefox Nightly from here: https://nightly.mozilla.org/ and retest the problem.

If you still have the issue please create a new profile, you have the steps here:https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=Managing-profiles#w_starting-the-profile-manager

Lastly test if the issue is reproducible in safe mode, here is a link that can help you:
