Affected versions

  • 68.0b9
  • 67.0.2
  • 69.0a1(2019-06-10)

Affected platforms

  • Windows 10x64
  • Ubuntu 16x64
  • macOS 10.14

Steps to reproduce

  1. Launch FF.
  2. Open multiple random pages to your choosing.
  3. Select 2 or 3 via multi select (hold CTRL or Shift+Click to select range of tabs).
  4. Press CTRL+SHIFT+D and select the name and location of the bookmark folder.
  5. Open the newly created bookmark folder.

Expected result

  • Only the pages selected via the multi-select option will be bookmarked.

Actual result

  • All the open pages, including the ones that are un-selected are being bookmarked.

Regression range

  • Will return with regression ASAP

The label in the main menu (where the ctrl-shift-d shortcut is shown) is "Bookmark All Tabs". Isn't this expected?

I think you are correct.

When selecting multiple tabs , if opening their context menu and choosing "Bookmark Tabs", you will have bookmarked only the selected ones and not all of them like in the case of CTRL+Shift+D combination.

Sorry for wasting your time.

This was the expected behavior. You can mark it accordingly

Thanks!
