Steps to reproduce:

I tried to disable automatic update checking in firefox.

Actual results:

There is no longer a way to do this except, apparently, through enterprise policy or something.

Expected results:

I should have found a way to disable the update checking as it is extremely annoying to have a window pop up all the time telling me to update when there is a package manager (Portable Apps) that takes care of that. I am not circumventing the package manager to do it manually and the update may not work successfully anyway.
