Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Start browser
2.highlight startup filename and attempt to overtype OR
3.click URL so that insertion point is somewnere in startup filename and type

Actual Results:  When field is highlighted, remains highlighted, typing has no
effect. When insertion point is placed in URL, typing has no effect. Also
delete, left arrow, right arrow and backpsace have no effect in either case.

Expected Results:  Should have overtyped highlighted text or inserted text at
insertion point. delete and backspace keys should have deleted highlighted text
or deleted text characters to the right (delete key) or left (backspace key).
Arrow keys should have changed position of insertion point.

Workaround: stop and restart browser. Sometimes have to stop and restart  Mozilla.

Reporter, this is an old problem fixed in later builds.  You should try a
current build.
