Details

[Affected versions]:
• Firefox 69.0a1 (20190617214029)

[Affected platforms]:
• Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
• MacOS High Sierra 10.13.6

[Prerequisites]:
Modify the following prefs as follows:

[Steps to reproduce]:

  1. Navigate to the about:addons page
  2. Access the Themes tab on the left side menu
  3. Install all the Recommended themes

[Description]:
Installing the recommended themes (which have been previously tagged as recommended on AMO -dev) will not display the ‘Recommended’ badge or string on the cards or in detail view, as in the case of extensions.

[Expected results]:
As in the case of extensions, installing themes with the recommended tag should display the ‘Recommended’ badge and string on the cards and detail view.

[Actual results]:
Installing themes with the recommended tag does not display the ‘Recommended’ badge and string on the cards and detail view, as in the case of extensions.

This is intentional. The Recommended Extensions program will only provide extensions, not themes.

Thanks Rob, closing this issue based on the above comment as it seems to work as expected.
