I opened the sidebar by clicking on the sidebar button. I brought up the context menu for the bookmark by cmd+clicking it and then selected the get info menu option. I changed the name to a completely different name (the url location was not changed and no comments were added). I closed the sidebar. I then clicked on the bookmarks menu in the apple menu bar. The bookmark name in that menu remained the same and did not change to what I had just changed it to in the side bar. Closing chimera and restarting it propogates the favorite name from the sidebar to the bookmark menu bar.
I am running chimera on OSX 10.1.5, the only other browser I have installed is Internet Explorer 5.2.1. I also have the Apple Project Builder Developer Tools installed on my computer. Enhancements that I am running are Proteron's Max Menus and Proteron's Liteswitch X. I had no other web page opened in a tab. I had no other windows other than the one I that my sidebar was open on. I was navigated to the bugzilla page when I last tested the bug. I did have the OS X finder running and apple's mail.app program running. I have a G4 Powerbook, 512MB RAM and plenty of free space (20GB+ free). I have my chimera history set to 1 day. I also enabled cmd+click link to open in a new tab. I added the chimera home icon and search icon to my chimera browser toolbar.
I am running the July 5 Chimera Build.
