From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020530
BuildID: 2002053012

A JavaScript function that I suspect is window.close (though I have not verified
this, follow a link in a hotmail message IN A NEW TAB after your login has timed
out) closes the window even if other tabs are open. Perhaps it should only
close the relevant tab.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Log in to Hotmail
2. Set expiry to 1 minute
3. Log out and in again
4. Open a message with a link in
5. Wait for login timeout
6. Click the link
7. See the page that opens

Actual Results: The entire application closes.

Expected Results: Just closed the relevant tab.

David: this was fixed in early June (see bug 103452). If you try
a current Mozilla build, this should work fine now -
