From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.1a+) Gecko/20020704 BuildID: 2002070404 I created a .bat file to update the source via CVS. It contained set MOZ_SRC="C:\Programs\Mozilla\Source" The quotes lead to the following: C:\Programs\Mozilla\Source\mozilla>nmake -f client.mak pull_all Microsoft (R) Program Maintenance Utility Version 6.00.8168.0 Copyright (C) Microsoft Corp 1988-1998. All rights reserved. client.mak(492) : fatal error U1023: syntax error in expression Stop. Removing the quotes solved the problem and I was able to update the source. Reproducible: Always
I don't believe any of the build instructions at http://www.mozilla.org/build/win32.html say anything about adding quotes to the env variables. The example clearly states: .... set MOZ_SRC=d:\mozilla_source ... Invalid.
