Hi Brian,
I wasn't able to reproduce the issue you've mentioned on Firefox 67.0.4 (2019-06-19) or Firefox Nightly 69.0a1 (2019-06-25)
Please test if the issue occurs to you in safe-mode. Here is a link that can help you with that:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode
If it still occurs, test it using a new profile, you can find the steps to do that below:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=Managing-profiles#w_starting-the-profile-manager
Thank you for reporting!
I can't use safe mode because it would disable the add-on(s) in question. How long did you wait? Some times it happens after three seconds, other times it can take up to 30-40 seconds. Either way, the box turns white and I have to click somewhere out of the box to close it and select it again.

I've waited for 5 minutes or so, it does not occur on my end.
My best guess is that its an add-on issue, try to disable the add-ons one-by-one so you can pin-point the culprit addon, or you can do it vice versa, using a new profile add your add-ons one-by-one and check after each install if the box turns white or not.
Thanks!

Hi Brian,
Did you manage to find out which addon caused the issue?
No, it wasn't any of the add-ons that was creating the problem. It's still happening though.
I reverted back to Windows 10 1803 from 1903 and it's still doing it. So, it's not Windows.

I cannot reproduce this issue, but I will assign a component in order to involve the development team in reviewing this issue.
