Steps to reproduce:

to reproduce issue, visit any web page on Android device with software navbar

Actual results:

navbar is rendered with black background, contributing to negative display outcomes for smartphones with OLED display and software navbar

Expected results:

navbar should be rendered with white background, to bring Firefox in line with Chrome and other browsers for Android

comparison screenshot of how Chrome for Android renders the same page on the same device, note the white navbar aligning with white background present in majority of web pages
this helps mitigate differential display aging on devices with OLED screens

Hi, I reproduced the issue with Google Pixel 3 XL(Android 9) on Firefox Release 67.0.3, Firefox Beta 68.0b11 and Firefox Nightly 68.0a1(2019-06-21).
I will mark the ticket as NEW.
