Thanks for filing this, Will. I didn't know enough about live examples to even realize these buttons were missing.

Looks like I need to port wiki-samples.js to remove the jQuery dependency and turn it into something I can call after each document is loaded.

While I'm at it, I'll try to remove the XHR where we go back to Kuma to query the example source even though it is already in our document.
