Given our most recent data analysis (as of June 25) of an ongoing experiment, we may need to change the first run experience shipping to users in Firefox 68 from join-supercharge
back to control
. This is contingent on decision-making from the product team given the most current results of the experiment.
It's possible no changes will be required; if there is a change, it will be a pref setting.
We expect to have a decision by end-of-week (June 28).

If we go with control, there's been previous concern that "screenshots" messaging is incorrect re: saving to web.
As in attachment 9073184 [details] from bug 1552280, there is a "sync" card that we could show as a quick-ish fix although it might be slightly confusing (/beneficial??) to show a sync non-dismissable page followed by a sync card.

Tracking as a blocker pending the product team's decision.

Hi Kate, any update on that decision? :)

Pretty sure we didn't do anything on Friday last week because it was decided to keep the new 68 default join-privacy. Jim, yes?
Yes, that's correct - we'll target join-privacy
for 68 and revisit with another set of experiments.

I guess we can close this then. Thanks!
