Steps to reproduce:

I do not know how to reproduce this as it seems to occur randomly.

Actual results:

Mozilla keeps opening windows at full screen height, with the top/left at the top of the window (left/right orientation is honored). If I resize the window to a smaller size, the window size is honored for a while, but eventually the windows return to full screen height.

Expected results:

New window size should be the same as last closed window. Also, new windows should be positioned upper left corner in the same place as the last closed window or nested within the last closed window.

Furthermore, the New Message window follows different size/position rules than the read message windows do. I do not know if that is intentional or not.

I've noticed that it only happens with new email. I still can not reproduce it on command, but if I set the window size/position, that size/position will be honored for any windows that I open for mail that has already been received. But if I receive a new email and then open it, it will sometimes open in full size - but not every time!

Also, if it makes any difference, I have my mail browser in Classic View, with the Message Pane hidden/closed, so all messages are read in a new window.

Nope. I have my window many in full size, but was playing around with it now - resizing, leaving it for a while, restarting, positioning a "new mail" window. Works fine for me.
