Steps to reproduce
Launch Firefox and Go to https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/testdrive/demos/variable-fonts/
Scroll down to the "A single font" animated text
Expected result
The text animation should be smooth as on Firefox with Webrender disabled
Actual Result
The Animation for the "A single font" text is missing with Webrender Enabled.

I'm not sure which is the correct meta bug for this issue, please change it to the correct one in case this is specific to something else.

Which version of Window 10 are you using? Is it at least 1703?

I did not manage reproduce this on Linux, macOS, or Windows. Rares, do you have any special prefs set?

Hi guys, my Windows 10 Version is 1511, I do not have any other preferences set, I start Firefox with a fresh profile and Webrender is already enabled. It did not cross my mind that it might be a Windows issue, I just assumed it's the poor vga card. Let me know if you need more information.

My understanding is that Windows doesn't support variable fonts before version 1703. Jonathan, is that correct?

Variation font support on Windows requires the Win10 Fall Creators Update or later, which IIRC corresponds to 1709.
