Firefox has reset some of my settings (including security settings) after the power went out

Steps to reproduce:
Firefox was open on my computer, and the power went out.
(Please note that this report is very generic on purpose. I do not know the exact reason why Firefox has reset my profile; I can only speculate the profile was in an inconsistent state following the power outage, but I nonetheless think the behavior the software showed in response to this is very unsafe.)
Actual results:
After I started my computer again and opened Firefox, I noticed the welcome page of an extension I had previously disabled; the menu bar was also reverted to its default state.
Upon further inspection, I noticed all my extensions had now been marked as allowed in Private Windows.
(My Sync account is still linked and Sync features work properly.)
Expected results:
Firefox should not have reset my settings without notification.
Furthermore, it should not have reset my settings to an unsafe state, re-enabling disabled extensions and marking extensions which I had not allowed in Private Windows as allowed.

I'm sorry that you lost profile information. This sounds like a duplicate of bug 1530660.
