Description

I use Mozilla 1.1a on both my work G4/450 and home G3/266. Both run Mac OS X
10.1.5. On both systems I have noticed that the Search sidebar appears to
"freeze" from time to time. I will not be able to click on URLs in the sidebar,
use the "Add..." buttons, or enter any text in the search text field. If I go
to Google in the main window, results of searches are displayed in the sidebar,
but I will be unable to select URLs in the sidebar. When this happens, Mozilla
on the G4 will become noticeably slower, complete with lots of cursor-spinning.

I have been unable to isolate what exactly triggers this. Then only solution
appears to be quitting and restarting the browser.

I use MozGest at home, but not at work. I have my preferences set on both
machines to prompt for cookies, disallow JavaScript for any actions aside from
changing images and disable What's Related.

Reporter, I am suspecting this to be a dup of bug 175324. Can you check it out?
also there's a patch attached, does it fix the problem? Or do you still see the
problem at all?
