Just type anything in the console, the autocomplete hint is flashing after every key stroke.

Chrome doesn't have this behavior.

It'd be good to not leave a canned comment to a bug with NEW status, usually all the useful info to relevant developers is already provided. If more info is needed, developers will ask.

I think that this is covered by Bug 1558248 , which should land soon.

As a side note, as Andre asked, please fill all the metadata you can when submitting a bug. Of course a developer can ask you to provide those information, but having them right when the bug is filed may save some time when doing the initial investigation.
I'd ask you to be nice there, everyone's trying their best to help make Firefox as good as possible, reporters, developers and triagers 🙂

Thanks for fixing this bug, the flashing is very annoying.

As a side note, as Andre asked, please fill all the metadata you can when submitting a bug. Of course a developer can ask you to provide those information, but having them right when the bug is filed may save some time when doing the initial investigation.

Most of the bugs, especially those written in JS, have nothing to do with specific OS. I only write metadata when I think they are relevant, otherwise they're noise or utterly misleading.

I'd ask you to be nice there, everyone's trying their best to help make Firefox as good as possible, reporters, developers and triagers 🙂
