Usage of the activity manager would be enhanced if the menu item had a shortcut key assigned to it

Unrelated: You know that you can double-click onto the status bar, right?
Ben, can you do a patch here?

Do we have a guide somewhere on assigning shortcut keys? Not a how to do it but what would be the best combination for certain areas or actions. I looked at the hotkey list, but wasn't confident enough to add a new one.

OK, so you don't want an "access key", which the menu already has, it's "v" in English, you want a "keyboard shortcut", like Ctrl+N (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/keyboard-shortcuts).
Usually those shortcuts are in very short supply, for example, you can't use Ctrl+A.
You could try what Ctrl+XX does, where XX are all the letters in the word "activity", so Cltr+A, Ctrl+C, Ctrl+T, Ctrl+I, Ctrl+V and Ctrl+Y. Maybe you find a key which is not used yet. Which one did you have in mind?
Richard, would you use a shortcut key for this given that we don't have many?

Is this window much used by average users? I don't think and giving a shortcut for it with our key shortage maybe isn't the best. And a ALT+T then V isn't so far and only one key more to press.
I WONTFIX this bug because of the lack of enough shortcuts. It can be reopened when a good key is found.
