Your first warning looks like it could be a real bug. The second and third
warnings are from a unix include file that is polluting the global name space.
Sometimes you can find that the include file is one that you do not really need
after all (compile with "-E" to get the preprocessor output). Otherwise, I would
suggest changing the variable name to shut up the warning.

Now you have a bug to check in your fixes. =) I am even available to review
changes.
