Steps to reproduce:

In my organization, users who have Firefox (67.0.4) and Chromium-based browser (Chrome or Yandex Browser) can't use webcam in FF.
Users have differents OS - Windows 7, 8.1, 10.
But light on camera work.

On Win7 if we delete Chromium-based browser then webcam worked fine.
On Win8.1-10 this don't work.

Actual results:

Webcam don't show picture.

Expected results:

Webcam should show picture.

Seems like less of a permission problem and more something else.

Thank you for the bug report! I tested my Windows 10 laptop with Chrome and Firefox Nightly and this does not reproduce for me. Chromium and Firefox use different Windows APIs to access the camera, Chrome uses MediaFoundation and Firefox uses DirectShow. That might explain why a camera would work in Chromium but not Firefox, but doesn't explain why uninstalling Chrome would fix things for Firefox.

Are all of your users using the same WebCam? If so, what is the model?

Does the WebCam work with any applications besides Firefox with a Chromium based browser installed?
