1564074 - Delay on displaying the "Saved logins" autocomplete with dozens of logins

Steps to reproduce:

1. Save multiple passwords for a website
2. Open the list of "Saved logins" from the login form.

Actual results:

The list opens with a 1 second delay. And I guess the delay is going to increase proportionally with the number of saved logins.
I use the login form daily for my organization and have hundreds of user accounts saved. While it may seem like a pretty uncommon use case, I think it will be good to fix this.

Expected results:

The list is expected to show up instantly, just like in other browsers (Opera, Chrome).

upvote for a fix and a change request. Lately firefox shows saved logins only for the exact URL. In version 71.0 it shows all the saved logins for the same domain. In my organization we have dozens of subdomains with same URI.

xxx.org.com/login
yyy.org.com/login
ttt.org.com/login

Now firefox lists all the above URL's saved logins when I open any off these sites.

This behavior is also slows firefox...

Would you pls revert the username autofill function?

My fix in https://hg.mozilla.org/integration/autoland/rev/495ec19bdb58 should help with the speed of the autocomplete popup. That should arrive in beta by next week. If that solves the problem then we can close this.

This new feature where the entire list of saved logins for domain.com as opposed to subdom.domain.com is really annoying.

Is it not possible to provide an option in password manager to allow the user to just show saved logins for the specific URL?

I have numerous saved logins for several internal subdomains and the list is simply unwieldy.

I'd prefer to just see the saved logins "From this website" only. Give the user choice please.

I've posted my screenshot there despite there being a workaround. Just wanted to make sure it gets the visibility it deserves as it is just too unwieldy...

Bug 1630681 in Fx76 (now in beta) should have also made this much better.
