1564211 - Mochitest harness shows garbled/truncated gecko output lines

Lately I've noticed that the log viewer, shows some weird output from gecko. Not sure if this is a log viewer problem or a Gecko problem, or an in-tree harness problem. Filing it here to start, please move as appropriate.

I see that sort of thing during local runs as well.

Yeah that's true. It's a lot worse now than it used to be, but I recall seeing it before as well. So probably not a log viewer problem. Maybe mochitest harness.

Bug 1526752 landed that day.
All failures are on Android 7.0 x86-64
Will speak to Dave tomorrow morning about a fix or a backout.
