Right now, in the android-l10n project on Pontoon, users can't request a specific product to localize: it's either all of android-l10n files or nothing.
Since the locale lists differ from one android-l10n project to another, it would be helpful if people could request specific projects directly for their locale (instead of me having to do that).
So for example:

• Request Fenix (which is Fenix file + a-c files)
• Request Fx Reality (Reality file + a-c files)
  etc.
  I don't know to which point this is feasible, so I'm open to similar suggestions, or any idea that can help improve this current situation :)

This is an overlapping concern for android-l10n and l10n-central.

One part here is the multi-project in one project/repo case, and you want to request a project in that repo. Just adding this request would be nice, but then, for Firefox, we actually request that people fill out a very detailed form.

The other part of this is to allow to edit project config files in pontoon. In the case of android-l10n, that's probably OK. I don't think that's OK in the general case, for example, for Firefox, project config is maintained in mozilla-central, controlled by L3 commit access. So pontoon can only be on the receiving side here.
