Steps to reproduce:

1- Create a new remote Adressbook with Cardbook 40.7
2- Enter proper url of the remote nextcloud address book https://cncloud.zaclys.com/remote.php/dav/addressbooks/users/00000/contacts/
3- Check Credentials
4- Select discovered addressbook
5- New address book has been created

Actual results:

Expected results:

The available addressbook should have been discovered and then synchronized properly.
It is to notice that TB 60.7.2 + Lightning 6.2.7.2 + Cardbook Addon 36.7 is synchronizing properly with the exact same Nextcloud Cloud instance.
Cardbook developper has investigated the issue and is facing an authentication issue.

Filed with wrong product and component? Lightning extension offers calendar functionality and CalDAV is a protocol to exchange calendar data. Both are not related to address book and CardDAV protocol.

Understood. But then what will be the right provider ? Can't select Carddav as a provider...
Lighting Bugzilla has been recommanded by Cardbook developper...

Apologies. This issur is NOT related to lightning at all. It is related to exchange between Cardbook & Nextcloud server. Workaround has been found by removing Nextcloud Website cookies from TB and not accepting cookies from this site.

You may close this, issue is solved

https://gitlab.com/CardBook/CardBook/issues would have been the right place.
