I hope you can fix this soon!!! I also could NOT bookmark in 60.7.2esr, but had no issues with the previous version!!!

How are you bookmarking? If you're clicking the star, did it turn blue, but not show you a dialog? If so, try clicking the star again, then near the bottom check "Show editor when saving".
If that doesn't help, please try this:
- Go to the three-bar menu -> Help -> Troubleshooting Information
- Scroll down the page to find the "Places Database" section (it is near the bottom).
- Click the "Verify Integrity" button, this may take a few seconds to run.
- Please copy/paste and post the output of that section here.
- Then restart Firefox and see if that helps.

My apologies. I ONLY received the one comment.
To answer your question, I was using the bookmark menu. I did go and try to use the blue star and also Ctrl + D, but nothing worked.
Here is how I was able to resolve the issue. First I tried updating to the newest ESR version, but it did not help. So, I did some research, and found the following article on fixing bookmarks.
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/cant-add-change-or-save-bookmarks
I followed the steps to Fix the Bookmarks file and it worked!!!
I am so relieved!!!
I did NOT follow the steps above because I am just now seeing them.
If I had seen them I would have definitely have gone thru them!!!
Thank you for your help, Marco.
