User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:56.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/56.0 Waterfox/56.2.11
Steps to reproduce:
After updating to Android 10 Beta, pressing the Sync button in Firefox does not start syncing. Instead the syncing stops immediately and the "last synced" date is not updated.
Actual results:
Bookmarks, cookies etc. are not synced between devices on Firefox. This happens also on Firefox Nightly.
Expected results:
The data should have been synced between devices, which is what happened on earlier versions of Android.

This should be working on Firefox 68 or newer. bug 1537701 was the fix. Petru was there any API change in Beta 5 that could have broken this?

Beta 4 of Android Q should have had the final APIs - https://android-developers.googleblog.com/2019/06/android-q-beta-4-and-final-apis.html
with which bug 1557203 ensured compatibility.
The fix for this issue is part of Firefox 68 which has just been released.
hectortib can you please make sure you have the latest version of Firefox installed and confirm (for example with the help of about:firefox) that it is Firefox 68?
I can confirm that it is FIrefox 68.0, and the bug still persists. I am on Android version QPP3.190404.015.
Updating to Beta 5, now syncing works. I was not aware previously that the fix was in Beta 4, so I hadn't updated. Sorry for wasting your time.
