Details

Environment:
Device: OnePlus 5T (Android 9);
Build: Fennec 68.1b2;

Precondition: Have Tracking Protection set to "Enabled"

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Launch Fennec and go to www.cnn.com;
  2. Tap the shield icon;
  3. Observe the details provided in the doorhanger.

Expected result:
In the doorhanger could be useful to be displayed details about the Tracking Cookies like the Content Blocking from Desktop.

Actual result:
Tracking Cookies details are not available in the doorhanger.

Summary: Add Content Blocking details in the doorhanger → Add Tracking Cookies details in the doorhanger

Fennec's address bar should show the shield icon when either standard TP or ETP is active, just like desktop does.

Similarly, Fennec's site permissions door hanger should show "Tracking Protection: Enabled" message when either standard TP or ETP is active. We don't need to bother changing the strings to say something like "Enhanced Tracking Protection: Enabled". The current string is good enough.

This UI bug doesn't need to block shipping ETP in Fennec ESR 68.0.x, but it would be nice to fix (maybe in Fennec ESR 68.1?) because it will show users the shield icon more often (letting them know Fennec is protecting them). It will also make testing ETP much easier.

I tested with the https://senglehardt.com/test/cookie_restrictions/simple_iframe.html test page instead of cnn.com because cnn.com didn't consistently trigger the TP shield icon.
