1566771 - Firefox 68 white flash on exit or closing separate window on Windows 10, same computer works fine on windows 7. Firefox 67 Windows 10 works fine

Steps to reproduce:

Closing Firefox 68, or closing separate firefox window.

Actual results:

Since version 68 I have white flash on exit or closing separate firefox window on windows 10. Closing tabs works fine. Everything works fine on version 67 and previous versions. Same problem on clean install and new profile.
With hardware accelerate off, firefox 68 exit normally.
Same computer with dual boot WIndows 10 and Windows 7. On WIndows 7 Firefox works fine, no white flash on exit.

Expected results:

FIrefox should close normally.

Hi,

I have managed to reproduce the issue on latest FF release version 68.0.1 on windows 10 but I am not able to reproduce it every time. I could not reproduce it on latest nightly version 70.0a1 (2019-07-21).
Can you please retest this using latest Nightly build (https://nightly.mozilla.org/) and report back the results? When doing this, please use a new clean Firefox profile (https://goo.gl/AWo6h8), maybe even safe mode (https://goo.gl/AR5o9d), to eliminate custom settings as a possible cause.

Thanks for reply.
Same thing on all versions of firefox higher than 67. Tried also Firefox beta 69 b5, b6, b7 and 70.0a1 with new installation and clean profile.
In safe mode everythings works fine, no white flashes. Also no white flashes with hardware accelerate off.
