Hi,

Your result is the expected behavior, the dark theme does not change the blank page to black, neither changing the system theme nor the browser theme to dark.
However, there is a solution. You can change the blank page to black following this:
Go to about:config and use the pref " browser.display.background_color " to " #000000 " (this is black) or any other color you wish.

Thanks for the report.

Thnx, for the manual hack
This dosen't seem to me the expected result. System-wide dark theme should be reflected on blank page, Firefox default home page, config page etc. In overall Firefox is not honouring the system theme. It has ability to tweak (just like the one you mentioned) but not all users are aware or comfortable with the hacks.

Hi,

What can I do for now is to move this over to a component so developers can take a look over it. If this is not the correct component please feel free to change it to an appropriate one.

Thanks.
