about:addons doesn't show update status while extension is updating

Steps to reproduce:
After I update Firefox to 68.0, this problem happens to me:
- Open about:addons
- Click the gear button, then click Check updates
Actual results:
All extensions doesn't showing their status during update, but I see the green notice "Your add-ons were up to date".
Expected results:
Extensions should showing their stutus during update, as Firefox 67 does.

Are you talking about the progress bar that used to appear in the card? The implementation there always seemed somewhat buggy so it wasn't reimplemented.
What are you hoping to find out from adding that back? Does it take too long for add-ons to update and it seems like it's stuck or something?
