Ugh, I think this hit the bug in the metadata update that nikkis is looking at where we sometimes overwrite intermittents in the metadata when we get a consistent result in a try push and do a full update. Just need to revert that change.

Also, James, could we merge all these three bugs into one https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/buglist.cgi?short_desc_type=allwordssubstr&short_desc=redirect-https-downgrade.tentative.sub.html%20%7C%20Https%20downgrade%20prefetch&query_format=advanced&list_id=14846297 and follow all the fetch/sec-metadata/redirect/redirect-https-downgrade.tentative.sub.html failures in this one?

Merging the bugs looks fine to me.

Failures should go down from comment 25.

We don't yet implement sec-metadata. Any failures are just fetch things in networking

Most of the recent occurrences here are failures and 2/3 of them unexpected passes.

This regressed when wptsync landed with Bug 1576813

Aryx does this still require need-open?
It is now passing on linux, do we update the test expectations?

Flags: needinfo?(aryx.bugmail)

For wpt, there is not a bug for every unexpected result. I would close here.

update redirect-https-downgrade.tentative.sub.html linux expectation r=egao

The reason why I considered this needs the leave-open tag it's that this bug together with Bug 1569098 kept coming back after the wpt-sync update that deleted the expectancies and prevent filing new bugs each time. That happened on multiple occasions as you can see from the list of patches for it and still happens nowadays. It's the same situation with Bug 1569098 (the latest looks like https://tinyurl.com/svpr4dm from https://hg.mozilla.org/integration/autoland/rev/47be1b3fdda63c7c1a5a256fa3f719f67b3f1a54) Tried to have only one bug following these fallouts as per comment 22. A fix for these fetch failures would be greatly appreciated here. Nhi, James any thoughts on this, should we continue updating the expectations here?

Yeah, there is a known bug with the bot and I need to spend some time investigating. I'll file an issue and make sure this one is linked.
