Hello,
I have checked this issue on both Linux x64 and Windows 10 x64, on nightly 70.0a1 and latest Firefox release(68.0.1 (64-bit)) and i couldn't reproduce it.
Can you please recheck if the issue still occurs, on both the current version and nightly version of Firefox, using a newly created profile? You can create a new profile using these steps : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-and-diagnose-firefox-problems#w_6-create-a-new-firefox-profile .
You can download the nightly version from here : https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/nightly/all/ .
OK I followed your instructions and it works perfecty on Nightly. I assume bug has been corrected but do not understand why Linux Mint is not provided with (by the firefox team that is) the latest version. Thanks for taking the time and replying to me.
