Mozilla 1.0 crashes, intermitently, when I try to open the following page: www.ig.com.br I've tried without plugger 4.0, it's better but still crashes very very often. With plugger 4.0, it also crashes when browsing www.globo.com.br/globonews Thank you, Adelson Oliveira.
Can you please use a talkback enabled build and add the talkback ID from that crash to this bug ? (After talkback submitted the crash run mozilla/components/talkback to get the ID)

do you crash if you remove the flash plugin?
wfm linux trunk cvs 2002-07-11, Flash 5.0 r48, ~20 reloads
From Adelson: > I don't crash without Flash. we still need a talkback ID so we can se what's actually happening. are you running Mozilla remotely or on a multi-head display? also please try a nightly build: http://download.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly/latest-1.0/ ==> Plugins

i told the reporter to install talkback if he use a non-rpm original mozilla.org build. (via XPI link) He installed talkback in a Conectiva based RPM build :-( the Talkback ID : TB8263204K will be bogus but we can try it. cc greer for the TB ID

cannot duplicate on windows with Flash6, assigning to Serge. Reporter: you may want to install a newer version of the browser, some significant fixes have been checked in since you had this problem

I've noticed that some popup windows behaves when dragged as if the 3D acceleration wasn't properly supported. This can be observed just before mozilla crashes. When mozilla is not going to crash, these popup windows don't show the same behaviour when dragged. I've updated my XFree86 4.2.0 driver to my video card but mozilla still crashes when browsing www.ig.com.br. I've not tried any of the drivers that can be downloaded from Nvidia homepage. My video card is GeForce 2. It's now been supported by XFree86-nv-4.2.0-41cl (i386.rpm) that I've downloaded from a Conectiva's mirror.
what mozilla build you are using? if you still are using Build ID 2002052918 (I got from TB report comment #6) this build is a bit old, and there is no fix for bug 149336 in that build:( please try the latest nightly build: http://download.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly/latest-1.0/
I've downloaded mozilla 1.1b and stop crashing. Build is 2002072204.
I've seen no more crashes. However, there's a problem with the Add-on. When using the other build, a pure Mozilla 1.0, I had no problem in setting Mozilla's language to Portuguese-Brazilian. Now, with nightly build ID:2002080307 (Mozilla 1.0.1?) and the other 1.1b that I've used, the Add-on doesn't work. It appears pt-BR(needs update). Is it possible to configure Mozilla build 2002080307 to work with the add-on available for Mozilla 1.0.0?
