User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:68.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/68.0
Steps to reproduce:
- Create a bookmarklet, e.g. create bookmark
javascript:alert('hi')
, name it 'test hi' and assign it a keyword 'hi'. - Type hi in the address bar.
- Press enter.
Actual results:
The bookmarklet does not appear in the address bar dropdown list. Upon pressing enter, the top suggested item in the list is opened, not the said bookmarklet.
Expected results:
The bookmarklet should appear at the top of the address bar dropdown list. Upon pressing enter, the bookmarklet should be invoked.
Hi lionelster,
I followed the steps and created a bookmarklet using Ubuntu 18.04.2 + Firefox latest Nightly version 70.0a1 (2019-08-05) (64-bit), and I was able to see the expected result. I'm attaching a video with my test. If this is not the expected result, please share with us further steps and screenshots/screen recording.
Can you please test it on your end? Please download the latest Firefox Nightly from here: https://nightly.mozilla.org/.
If you still have the issue please create a new profile, you have the steps here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=Managing-profiles#w_starting-the-profile-manager
Thank you for your report.

Hi Viriginia, thanks for responding.
I installed Firefox Nightly, and it's fine there.
I created a new profile on my regular Firefox as per instructions, twice now, and encountered the bug both times. I will attach a video.

Is bug 1552141?
Hi lionelster,
Thank you for your feedback.
If the issue is no longer reproducible in Firefox Nightly 70.0a1 it means that when the Release version will reach version 70, the issue will be fixed in the Release version as well.
As per Firefox Release Calendar, version 70 will ship to Release version on 2019-10-22. Please visit this link for further information: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Release_Management/Calendar
I'll mark this ticket as resolved, but feel free to reopen it in case you can still reproduce the issue on Nightly.
Regards,
