I installed the 68.0b5 candidate build from ftp. When opening a chat session, there should be a text field at the bottom, which allows me to enter the text I want to send.
It's there, but it's very small. It's difficult to focus it. If I succeed, the text entered isn't visible. One can simply guess something's happening, because the few upper pixels of the text are visible, only.
I see this testing on Windows 32bit, but I think I've seen it before on Linux.

Is it really 68.0b5 or has it already updated to 69.0b1? When second then it's a dupe of bug 1568121.

Looks like you're right. It really updates quickly... I wish we had a command line option to disable automatic updates, which I could use while testing. (I know I can disable it in prefs.)
