Details

We have at least 3 patches touching brand names.

  • Bug 1561336 (already landed) adds -monitor-brand-short-name.
  • Bug 1549806 (backed out for now) adds -lockwise-brand-short-name.
  • Bug 1562006 is adding an entire DTD file (sigh).

We should make sure these files have English values before they show up in Pontoon. Since brandings.ftl only contains brand names, it's safe to overwrite existing files with the English one from mozilla-central.

Using this bug as reference for commits.

Summary: Initialize branding files → Bootstrap new brand names

Exposing new strings to gecko-strings and covering bug 1561336.
