[Steps to Reproduce]
- Install latest Nightly build
- Create a new profile
- Open about:config and set the following prefs:
browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.asrouter.devtoolsEnabled
=true
trailhead.firstrun.branches
=" "
- Open about:newtab#asrouter
- Go to Targeting -> scroll down -> click on Force attribution
- Open about:welcome
- Try to install the extension from the RTAMO card
[Actual result]
Installation is not triggered when clicking on the +Add the Extension button
[Expected result]
Extension can be installed
[Notes]:
- this could be a regression introduced when fixing Bug 1560065 (https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/rev/4274af431ede) , since the first build where the issue can be reproduced is 20190729095501 (Jul-29-2019)
- the issue was reproduced with Win10x64 and macOS High Sierra 10.13.6
