15725 - [Regression] newly retrieved msg aren't listed in inbox thread pane

Build Date & Platform Bug Found:

 Win32 commercial seamonkey build 1999-10-06-09-m11 installed on P166 Win98
 Linux commercial seamonkey build 1999-10-06-08-m11 installed on P200 RedHat 6.0
 MacOS commercial seamonkey build 1999-10-06-08-m11 installed on G3/400 OS 8.5.1

Overview Description:
  Under POP and IMAP, when you retrieve new messages, they are not displayed in
the inbox until you refresh the list.  I have to select another folder then
re-select the inbox before I can see or select the messages.

Steps to Reproduce:
1)
Launch apprunner -mail
2) Click on the '+' next to the list of folders
3) Select the Inbox
4)
Click on get msg button
   The status bar shows it is retrieving some new messages
   No messages are listed in the thread pane
5) Select another folder
6) Reselect your inbox
   You messages are now listed in the message pane

Actual Results:

The status bar shows that new messages are being downloaded.  No messages are
listed in the thread pane.

Expected Results:
I should not need to refresh the inbox folder

Additional Builds and Platforms Tested On:

In yesterday Mac, win, and linux M11 commercial/mozilla build, this was not a
problem.

On the mac commercial build, there is a separate bug about retrieving mail under
pop.  It's bug# 15720.

fyi, This issue also occurs in today 1999-10-06-08-m11 win32, macos, and linux
builds.

Update,

This problem appears to have disappeared in today m11 mozilla and commercial
build on win32 (1999-10-07-09-m11), linux (1999-10-07-08-m11), and macos
(1999-10-07-08-m11) builds.

Scott, could you mark this bug as worksforme so I could verify it?  Thanks.
