Details

The goal of this work is to facilitate data migration from Fennec to Fenix (and, potentially, other Mozilla applications).

This bug is specifically around history and bookmarks. Current plan is to stream browser.db file wholesale to our consumers, who will then deal with parsing and migrating the data themselves.

This work should use the same verification mechanism to ensure we only communicate with trusted applications as was added in Bug 1545232.
