User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:68.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/68.0

Steps to reproduce:

I disabled my Adblocker and logged into my YouTube/Google account.

Actual results:

Advertisements at the beginning of videos refuse to load, causing some videos to not load at all. This appears to only occur when logged into YouTube.

Expected results:

Advertisement plays, then the video plays.

Daniel,

Would you mind trying this with a new profile? You can create a new profile by:

  1. Go to about:profiles
  2. Click the "Create a New Profile" button near the top of the page.
  3. Name the profile something like "Delete-later" if you'd prefer something memorable to remind you to delete it after the test.
  4. Find the newly created profile and click the "Launch profile in new browser" button.

Thanks you!

Hello,

I already tested it out in a virtual machine with a clean install of Firefox and the problem still arose, but after receiving your response I decided to test it one more time with a new profile instead (which is easier to do than launching a virtual machine in hindsight). The problem doesn't appear to be occurring anymore, so I think it may have been an issue on YouTube's end the day I discovered it. I'm gonna disable my adblocker on my main profile for the next few days to see if the issue occurs again. Sorry if this report ends up being unnecessary.

Daniel
