If you accidentally leave the URL of a bookmark empty you will all lot of
headache on bookmark sidebar..
ie.
-You will unable to move "ANY" bookmark.
-Sort becomes random.
etc...

There seems to be no way I can see to modify or add a bookmark to have a blank
URL. You can do about:blank, but that works fine. Are you editing the
bookmark.html file by hand?

reporter (Imran): can you reproduce this bug with a recent build of mozilla (for
example, 1.1)? if so, please comment again, and explain exactly the steps to
reproduce (how do you get a bookmark with no URL?)  if you can't reproduce it,
please resolve this bug as WORKSFORME. thanks.

1- I can not add a bookmark with empty url on sidebar and bookmark manager.
2- After adding a bookmark, I deleted the url using properties dialog.
With this "empty" bookmark nothing went wrong.

thanks.  but bugs that fix themselves without a patch being applied are
"WORKSFORME" status rather than FIXED.  reopening to change...
