I was testing Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:52.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/52.0 SeaMonkey/2.49.5 BuildID: 20190715210651
Created a Mozilla news account.
Subscribed to mozilla.test
Composed and Sent a test message.
When the message appeared it displayed an Unknown Protocol message.
Selected several other posts to the group with the same results.
Message text should have displayed properly in the message body.

Tested the 64-bit SM 2.49.5 Linux candidate in my Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS test user account.
Created only the news account.
Subscribed to mozilla.test.
Downloaded messages and was able to read them without a problem.

Did the same as Comment 1 in SeaMonkey 2.49.5 on Windows 10 with a new test profile and all looks good.
