I noticed that one of my FxA test accounts was receiving emails to an old primary email address, so I clicked through the links at the bottom of the email. This asked me to sign in with that Firefox Account and then landed me on the management page in the attached screenshot.
The top-right corner of the page has a button for "Get a Firefox Account". But I just signed in with my Firefox Account (indicated by ?fxa=1 in the URL, for example) so this button seemed really out of place.

Oh yeah. That button is in the global nav. Perhaps we can switch it to a "download firefox" button on this page, or when that query param is set?
Any thoughts on this Alex?

Non Firefox browsers already see a download button there I believe.
In relation to the “Get a Firefox Account” button - we’re currently shifting our messaging to promote learning more about the Firefox family of product and services. For example, if you are already signed into an account and click that button, the page you land on will prompt you to try out Firefox Monitor. This seems like a valuable pathway still.
I think the proper way to “fix” this bug therefore, is that we should change the button text. It’s no longer just about getting an “Account”. I believe there’s already work underway to change this text, but i’ll double check.
Thanks for filing!

Closing out this old bug. The nav no longer shows a Firefox Accounts button today (it was replaced by a Mozilla VPN button).
