MAC OS If you minimize the main Thunderbird window while sending new message, program hangs

Steps to reproduce:
On my MAC, using Thunderbird 60.8.0. When writing a new message and If I minimize the main window only keeping the new message that is being composed open and the main window is still minimized after sending the message, the program stops responding and has to be forced quit and restarted. You can have tons of new messages come over and will never know until the program has been restarted due to the crash
Actual results:

Expected results:
Should be able to maximize the main window again with out crashing.

Isn't that just a variation on the "Mc sending hang". Does that still happen in TB 68?
