Details
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC; en-US; rv:1.1a) Gecko/20020611
BuildID: 2002061103
(VGA 640x480 15" - UPS wrecked my 17").
With good (?) ol' Netscape, I can expand the Browser window (slightly) to
eliminate wasted landscape (the l&r borders), enough in most cases, to make l-r
scrolling unnecessary.
(I leave just enough of the right margin visible to be able to access u-d
scrolling.)
With Mozilla, the window springs back to be within the monitor's limit.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Get the same monitor size/type.
2.Try to make the browser window oversize horizontally.
3.It won't happen.
Actual Results: As above.
Expected Results: As above.
WorksForMe using Mac/2002080208/9.2.2. I open a browser window and drag the resize
widget to the lower right corner of the screen, perhaps a pixel or two in so the OS doesn't reject
the drop, and release the mouse button. Mozilla draws the right and bottom edges of the
browser window beyond the screen boundary.
dchristel, can you still reproduce this problem using a current build?
URL: none
