Steps to reproduce:

start firefox, maximize the window or already start with window maximized

Actual results:

in the top left corner a black artifact / square appears wich overlaps the firefox window (for example the favicon of the first tab etc)

Expected results:

the window should have shown without the black square

Hi,

I was unable to replicate this issue, i am using Windows 10 64bit with latest firefox release 68.0.2
When i maximize the screen i see no square on the left corner of the screen

Please download Firefox Nightly from here: https://nightly.mozilla.org/ and retest the problem.

If you still have the issue please create a new profile, you have the steps here:https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=Managing-profiles#w_starting-the-profile-manager

Lastly test if the issue is reproducible in safe mode, here is a link that can help you:

I'm sorry for not updating this immediately. This is closed for me now as I am no longer on this driver.
But yes, in the end this looks like the linked Bug about the new Intel generic driver, which I used for quite some versions now without a bug. (So you could add HD515 to the list in the other post or just verify that it seems to be all Skylakes generic drivers starting from the .7000s in combination with Firefox). Now I am back at 25.20.100.6472 installed by Microsoft Update and no issues.
